Who is "Forbidden PC"?
Forbidden PC is a sole proprietorship run entirely be me. My name
is Norman Higgs and I live in a small town in California with my
loving wife Joy, where I work full time as an Electronics Technician
for a large Bio-Medical company. I've been an Electronics Technician
since graduating from the Naval Electronics Technician School in
1984. I have worked in various aspects of the electronics field ever
since, from Communications and Radar equipment in the Navy to
Commercial Electronics to Scientific Instrumentation to Biomedical
Equipment, and since 1998, I've been building personal computers as
a hobby. So, in 2004 I finally decided to 'hang my
signpost' out here on the Internet. I am offering my services as a
technician for the purposes of providing top quality upgrades for
those people who have neither the time nor inclination to do it
themselves. In the near future I intend to offer some Web services
as well, once I have the network structure in place.

I have recently moved to Ashland, Oregon where I continue to
offer my services as a computer technician and custom computer
builder.
Why only Upgrades? Why not complete systems?
Because most people shopping the internet already have a working
computer, and much of that can be re-used - the monitor, keyboard,
mouse, printer, and often the case, and drives as well. So all most
people really need is the 'Box'. That is what I provide.
